Abstract

In the present work, Cicadomorph species collected from Gevne valley and its surroundings located in southwestern Turkey were studied ecologically and zoogeographically. In the surveys, 36 species belonging to 28 genera of 5 families were identified. Anaceratagallia venosa (Fourcroy, 1785) Iassus infectoriae Abdul-Nour, 1998 and Stegelytra albofasciata Linnavuori, 1962 were recorded for the first time from Turkey. For the identified species in the study area, 14 corotypes of different zoogeographic regions were determined.
