  • Monitor the field regularly for adult moth (adult moth is active at night from 11pm -2am)
  • Observe a brown, circular, rotten area that develops around the tiny puncture hole on the fruit
  • There is no larvae inside of the fruit
  • Destroy the larva in host plant through burning
  • Cut the Erythrina indica tree canopy during the summer (season for laying egg)
  • Use of lanterns or lights at night (20 W) for repellent action
