Abstract

A fungus was found on branches of Caragana spp. in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. The pycnidium and conidiospore of the fungus were studied in terms of their morphological and molecular characteristics. The fungus was identified as the anamorph of Stromatonectria caraganae, which belonging to Stromatonectria. This species is a newly recorded species from China.
